J1 enjoyed a trip to Shrewsbury Museum to take part in a ‘Stone Age, Bone Age’ workshop. The children handled artefacts, looked at Stone Age and Bronze Age items and took part in a wide range of activities, which included; grinding corn on a quernstone to make flour, drawing cave paintings and hafting (attaching axes heads to poles). We all had an interesting and memorable time.
