Our U11 Girls Football Team were, once again, in dominant form, when they won through to the Final of the Shrewsbury District Schools FA Girls Challenge Cup. The girls went through to the semi-final top of their group and Farrah’s ‘Bend it Like Beckham’ corner proved to be enough to beat Greenfields to book our place in the Final. 10 goals were scored in 4 games, and with once again, no goals conceded. Olivia Houlston and Amelia Atkinson proved just too good for the opposition defence by linking up repeatedly to create chance after chance. The girls have shown why they deserve to be in the County Final a second year running and will now play in both the District and County Football Finals.

The County Final will be played on Monday, 7th May and the District Final will be played on Friday, 11th May.
