The St Winefride’s Band played in Shrewsbury Square, Tuesday 9th July. Twenty three young musicians
(trumpets, euphoniums, baritones, flutes, saxophones and drums) performed brilliantly, producing a strong and confident sound.

They attracted quite a large audience playing a colourful programme, including ‘Its Our World’, ‘Pirate Benbow’ and ‘Ode to Joy’.  The Band even raised £63 for charity.

They will perform next on Open Day and again at Christmas in Shrewsbury Cathedral.
