St. Winefride’s School was represented once again last week by 28 runners – both boys and girls from our years 3 to 6, at the recent ISA Midlands Regional Cross Country Championships, held at Bedstone College.
The School submitted four teams; U9 Boys, U9 Girls, U11 Boys and U11 Girls. Our runners all performed extremely well, with excellent runs recorded by our athletes.
Special congratulations to Roni K and Norah K who came 2nd and 3rd in their respective races and Lucy H and Izzy T who finished in 5th and 6th place. All four have therefore qualified to represent the Midlands for the ISA National Event in March. Well done!
