J2 took a trip to the Shropshire Archives to see what they could find. In keeping with our project, looking at the history of our town, we looked at many different artefacts, from Queen Victoria’s seal to a document hundreds of years old advising Salopians on how to avoid the plague, to an old Victorian maths book belonging to a local primary school-aged girl.

We also took a historical tour around the town, spying as many historical clues in the buildings as we could, learning how to spot a real Tudor building.
