Our U9’s football team played their first tournament of the season on Wednesday at Prestfelde. For the Year 3 children it was their first ever football tournament playing for St Winefride’s. Well done to George, Zac and Edward for such energetic performances!
They were joined in the team by James, Tom, Joshua, Arthur and Izzy, who should all be very proud of their effort, teamwork and sportsmanship. Arthur, in particular, made some exceptional saves and Izzy was player of the match for her brilliant running, passing and goal scoring.
