Our U9’s Football Team competed in the Shropshire Schools and Colleges FA U9 County Cup competition this week. The boys looked the part in their brand new kit, provided through our ongoing links with Shrewsbury Town FC and the Premier League Primary Stars scheme. It proved to be a successful night for the boys, who, despite the wind and rain and playing all games back-to-back, finished the evening qualifying for the final rounds of the County Cup Competition as top of their group, with an unbeaten record! A fantastic display by the boys and captain Alex Weilds, who led by example throughout and topped his night’s work with a hat-trick of goals.
