At the recent Shropshire Schools Championships, our gymnastics teams performed brilliantly. This competition was not only very close to the the National Competition, it was made more complicated by the fact that the children had to compete with a totally different routine. Despite this, out teams achieved great success, with the U7 Girls Team and U9 Boys Team both coming 1st. The U9 Girls Team and the U11 Boys Team both came 2nd and the U11 Girls Team was placed 3rd. Individual results were equally impressive: Lexi Dalzell and Harry Oliver both 1st, Jessica Mansell, Alexander Weilds, Tristan Stewart, Flossie Yates and Ava Mangham all 2nd, and Eva Ford, Millie Atkinson and Ollie Hughes all 3rd.

Our gymnastic teams also represented the school in the recent ISGA National 2 Piece Competition in Lincolnshire, with our U9 Boys Team crowned National Champions. Harry Oliver also took 1st place individually and Alexander Weilds finished 5th. Other successes were: U9 Girls, Mille Atkinson and Esme Farmer both 4th,  U10 Girls Team 7th, U11 Girls Team 7th, with Abi Mangham placed 3rd individually. Congratulations!
