The U11 Boys Football team played at Ellesmere College last weekend in an annual 6-a-side tournament. This year, 10 teams took part. Our boys went through to the Plate Competition, and won both the semi-final and final, coming home with the trophy and medals as the 2018 Plate Winners! Fantastic effort boys and our thanks to Mr. Savage and Mr. Wilcox. Thanks also to Ellesmere College for hosting a great day of football.
Jake Wilcox was named Player of the Tournament by Ellesmere staff.
Two days later, the team took on Prestfelde U11As at Prestfelde. After an initial 2-0 lead, we ended up losing out 4-5 to an unfortunate penalty in the last two minutes of the match.
