Our U9s Football Team played in the Prestfelde U9 Football Tournament this week. We played in the Trophy competition with 7 other teams. For a number of our team, this was their first time out representing our School, however, this did not prove to phase them in any way, as St Winefride’s won all their group games, scoring 8 goals and conceding just 1! Izzy Jones scored her first goal for the School.
With that impressive run, we were through to the Final, which was won convincingly, meaning that St. Winefride’s U9s were crowned the Prestfelde U9 Trophy Champions as the only undefeated team of the tournament! Fantastic!
