Mrs. Rowley, and members of Year 2 presented an assembly to the Whole School on this important day. The theme this year, chosen by the United Nations, is about restoring land, preventing desertification and being resilient to drought. Children today are being called ‘Generation Restoration’.
The children came up with some very good ways of looking after, and enhancing our environment. They were also very aware of the 3 R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
