Meet Molly – one of St. Winefride’s Viking Raiders!

This week, Junior 4 went to the Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery and took part in a ‘Viking Raiders’ workshop presented by staff from the Museum. This linked to our History topic on the Vikings. Our pupils heard a presentation, enjoyed some re-enactment/raiding, handled some Viking artefacts, spun wool and even took part in Viking sagas, involving gods, giants, bridesmaids and magical weapons!

Our thanks to the fantastic staff at the Museum. Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the chance to be immersed in a ‘living History’ environment.
