Recently, Junior 4 enjoyed a ‘Viking Raiders’ workshop presented by staff from the Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery. This linked to our History topic on the Vikings. Our pupils heard a presentation, enjoyed some re-enactment, handled some Viking artefacts, took part in Viking Gods saga and were even present at a Viking burial!

The same week, Junior 3 spent the morning in a Tudor workshop at the Museum and enjoyed a guided Tudor walk around the town in the afternoon. Our thanks to the fantastic staff at the Museum. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the chance to be immersed in a ‘living History’ environment.
