Last week, two teams travelled to Oswestry School to play friendly matches. The U11 Boys Football Team won against their Oswestry opponents 4-2, with Ollie Hughes having a stand-out performance. The U11 Girls Netball Team ended up having a great match and winning 34-0. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon; the matches played in great spirit by both schools. Our thanks to Mr. Bradburne and Oswestry School for being fantastic hosts.

Two days later, the U11 Girls Football Team played in the SSCFA U11 Girls County Plate competition. The girls played some outstanding football, drawing one and winning two games, with no goals conceded. Super effort from Erin O’Byrne, who was indomitable in defence. The girls go through to the next round of the County competition top of their group.
