This advent, our School once again supported Shrewsbury Foodbank’s ‘Reverse Advent Calendar’ Appeal that we have also supported for the previous two years.
Pictured is our Head Boy and Head Girl at the end of term, with all the donations ready to to be donated to the Foodbank.
Mrs. Devey and Mr. Goody delivered all of the School’s donations directly to Karen Williams, the Project Lead from Foodbank Plus at Shrewsbury Foodbank.
Karen passed on to our School a huge ‘thank you’ for all the fantastic donations. She went on to explain how much this will help families in our community at Christmas – this appeal’s hampers had fed 301 families only last week, and will go on to support many more families over the Christmas period. This wonderful support for one of our local charities and our community wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our children and parents, thank you all.
