This week, our School, through our partnership with Shrewsbury Town FC and the Premier League Primary Stars Programme, was invited to participate in a tournament on the new 4G training facility at Shrewsbury Town Football Club.

We took a mixed U11 boys and girls team, and for some, this was the first time they had played for the school in the ‘black and yellow’. We performed brilliantly, conceding only 2 goals throughout the tournament and only losing 2 of our 7 matches.

Our children thoroughly enjoyed the day, and this was topped by the fantastic and rare opportunity to view and have photographs with the actual Premier League Trophy (sporting its fantastic sky blue and white ribbons!)

Our thanks to Jonny Hughes and his team at Shrewsbury Town in the Community and the Premier League for this opportunity.
