J1 had a great time with Anna from Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery.

Pupils handled real stone age artefacts and replicas, also from the Bronze Age. They made cave paintings with pastels and tried to make woollen thread to weave with.  We also tried to grind grains on a stone to make flour and attach an axehead to a stick – this is very difficult but we had some very good attempts!
